Mr CleanOven, a family run business, established 2007 in Essex and now offering our services locally, since moving to the village of Thurlton 18 months ago.
At Mr CleanOven we will take all those dirty jobs off your hands and provide you with the highest standard of cleaning at a very competitive price. We clean all types of Ovens old or new including Ranges, AGA’s, Rayburns, all types of Hobs, Extractors, Microwaves plus fridges and can defrost Freezers as well.
We will remove all the detachable parts of your oven and clean them in our specially designed heated dip tank in the rear of our vehicle, whilst deep cleaning the rest of the oven including glass doors, seals and fan, this process takes normally approx. 1½ to 2 hours

Having worked for a national chain of timber merchants for 25 years it was always the dream of Ray Read to run his own timber company. Unfortunately, he died suddenly in 1980. However, his sons fulfilled that dream and began trading from the current site in 1981. From a humble start, Read Brothers Ltd grew sufficiently for Mallison Denny (Malden) to buy the business from the family in 1988. With the demise of the Malden group, the brothers were able to buy back the company in 1992 and refocus the business on being a traditional timber merchant with the design and manufacturing of trussed rafter roofs.
Now, with two types of truss manufacturing machinery and state of the art Easi Joist machines, we are at the forefront as designers and suppliers of engineered timber products in this region. We can also design, supply and erect timber frame panels.
With the next generation of Reads joining the team, the business is still very much family orientated.
